Olantha L. Scott is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Alternative Community Services Inc. of Greater Houston, the sister company to Reliable Community Alternatives in Louisiana. With over 20 years of experience in the aging and disability services field, she is committed to ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for children, adults, and seniors who choose to live independently at home.
As a parent of a daughter with Down syndrome, Moya Moya, and other complex medical needs, Ms. Scott understands the challenges families face. Her lived experience, combined with her professional expertise, drives her mission to support individuals with disabilities and their caregivers with compassion and dignity.
Olantha is a proud graduate of Houston Community College (HCC) and Texas Southern University (TSU). She is a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and a graduate of Louisiana’s Partners in Policymaking Program. She also served more than nine years on the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council, appointed by Governors Kathleen Blanco and Bobby Jindal.
Ms. Scott is known for her servant leadership, advocacy, and dedication to creating reliable community supports across Texas and Louisiana.
